Due to the AC-DC conversion process, the input line current Iin suffers where current harmonics are generated, which are harmful and pollute the AC line/ grid. So, there are regulations on this to the extent to which these can be permitted. Generally, the standard referred to for this is IEEE 519-2014, which was recently amended as IEEE 519-2022. Hence, this standard itself is very new and refers to Point-Of-Common Coupling (PCC) for all measurements.
