Our story
Over 35 years of engineering
Our story began in Delhi in 1987, when two design engineers solved a controller fault for a chemical plant in three days. That first job turned into a business built on one idea: understand the load, then design the power electronics around it.
The company was first called Statcon Power Controls: Stat for static, Con for converters, the static power converters it has built ever since.
In 2015 the solar, power and defence divisions became Statcon Energiaa. Today we work across five divisions, with our own R&D, our own manufacturing and our own after-sales support, for customers in India and 26 countries.

The solar, power and defence divisions became Statcon Energiaa, with a new corporate office in Noida.

Our R&D lab received national government recognition.
- 2023
We supplied our first rectifier for green hydrogen production.

We launched the Energiaa X on-grid solar inverter, designed and made in India.
Manufacturing and R&D

Our 1,24,000 sq ft works in Pilkhuwa, District Hapur, builds, tests and quality-checks every product we sell.
Manufacturing
- Assembly, wiring and testing under one roof, in two production blocks
- Separate manufacturing, testing and quality-check sections for each product
- Transformers made in-house
- Centralised ERP tracking every build
Quality control
- A QC lab with test jigs for every electronic component that enters stock
- High-power test equipment, power analysers and environmental heat-test chambers
- Quality checks on samples throughout production
- A mandatory final quality check before any product is packed
- Regular training for the production team at the QC lab, and technical seminars by visiting experts
- A vendor quality programme for raw materials and semi-finished goods
Research and development
- An independent R&D team that builds tailor-made solutions
- 1.5% of annual revenue invested in R&D
- A dedicated R&D block of over 300 sq m (about 3,200 sq ft)
- A separate team for sub-parts, controls, drawings and software, tested on equipment in the adjacent factory
