Coach systems
MPPT charge controller for coaches
MPPT solar charge controller for railway coaches with sensor inputs, local logging and GPRS monitoring.

Overview
What it does
This MPPT solar charge controller extracts additional power from a coach-mounted PV array and can be synchronised with the coach's existing ERRU or auxiliary power supply.
It accepts external environmental sensors, logs data locally to USB or SD card and supports web-based monitoring over GPRS.
Applications
- Railway coaches with rooftop solar
Features
Why engineers choose it
- Maximum power point tracking for more energy from the PV array
- Works alongside the coach's existing ERRU or auxiliary supply
- Compatible with radiation, temperature, wind, humidity and vibration sensors
- Local data logging to USB or SD card
- Web-based monitoring of generation data over GPRS
