SMPS power plants
SMPS telecom power plant
RDSO-specification SMPS power plant for railway telecom, 48 V up to 800 A in N+1 or N+2.

Overview
What it does
The Statcon Energiaa SMPS-based power plant provides stable DC power and battery charging for telecom installations, protecting equipment from mains variations and interruptions.
FR-FC or FR-BC modules run in (N+1) or (N+2) parallel load-sharing configuration in one rack, expandable with modules of the same rating up to an ultimate capacity of 800 A at 48 V.
It is built to RDSO specification RDSO/SPN/TL/23/99.
Applications
- Railway telecom installations
- Electronic equipment needing backup power
- Other telecom assets
Certifications and standards
- Built to RDSO/SPN/TL/23/99
Features
Why engineers choose it
- Modular SMPS design with (N+1) or (N+2) redundancy
- Parallel load sharing between same-type modules in one rack
- Rack-level expansion with modules of the same rating
- Works from AC mains or a DG set
- Suitable for AC-electrified and non-electrified areas
- Charges VRLA or conventional lead-acid batteries
