Industrial battery chargers and rectifiers
Microcontroller-based battery chargers
Digitally controlled thyristor chargers with LCD display, automatic battery settings and built-in battery health testing.

Overview
What it does
Statcon Energiaa microcontroller-based battery chargers use thyristor-based, digitally controlled AC/DC conversion with embedded systems for performance and systematic diagnostics.
They give a highly stable output over a wide AC input range, with an LCD front panel and password-protected settings and calibration.
Ratings range from 24 V/2,000 A to 220 V/1,000 A.
Applications
- Thermal, hydro and other power generating stations
- Control and instrumentation applications
Features
Why engineers choose it
- Temperature compensation for VRLA batteries
- Automatic float and boost voltage setting on selection of battery type and number of cells
- Automatic float-to-boost and boost-to-float changeover current set from battery Ah capacity
- Battery health test facility
- AC/DC voltage and current calibration
- Password-protected settings and calibration
