Questions
What customers ask about power
Thyristor or SMPS charger: which do I need?
Thyristor-controlled chargers suit rugged, high-current station DC systems and can be heavily customised. SMPS chargers are modular and redundant, with high input power factor and low input harmonics, and modules can be swapped without shutting the system down.
Which battery types do your chargers support?
Lead-acid (flooded, sealed and tubular) and Ni-Cd batteries, in float, float-cum-boost, dual and redundant configurations.
Do you make the transformers yourselves?
Yes. Transformer manufacturing, fitting, wiring and testing are done in-house at our Pilkhuwa works.
