What it does
IGBT chopper-based rectifiers complement Statcon Energiaa's thyristor range for green hydrogen and are available in select ratings.
In this topology, a diode rectifier feeds an IGBT buck chopper that regulates the DC output, giving lower DC ripple and faster transient response than thyristor control.
