Industrial DC rectifiers
High-current industrial rectifiers
Thyristor-controlled high-current DC rectifiers for electroplating, downstream industrial processes and naval shore supply.
Overview
What it does
The same high-power rectifier platform supplies high-current DC for downstream industrial applications such as electroplating, and for shore-supply rectification in naval and defence use.
Delivered units include a 1.43 MW indoor free-standing thyristor rectifier at 328 V, 4350 A and a 320 V, 4500 A indoor shore-supply rectifier.
Units are offered for indoor or outdoor installation, including trolley-mounted designs.
Applications
- Electroplating and other downstream DC processes
- Naval shore-supply rectification
- Defence DC supply
Features
Why engineers choose it
- Rugged, time-tested SCR converter design
- Galvanically isolated transformers for clean DC and good input power quality
- Indoor, outdoor and trolley-mounted versions
- Custom distribution panels on request
- Units in naval dockyards for over 20 years
