DC power for a green hydrogen pilot
Two containerised rectifiers feed the electrolysers of a green hydrogen pilot.

The challenge
What was needed
A green hydrogen pilot needed stable, well-regulated DC power for its electrolysers, in outdoor enclosures that could be installed and run on site.
The solution
What we built
Statcon Energiaa supplied two containerised, forced air-cooled outdoor thyristor rectifiers, each rated 558 kW. Forced air cooling removes the need for air conditioning inside the enclosure.
Equipment
Key figures
| Units | 2 × 558 kW |
|---|---|
| Output per unit | 3,600 A at 155 V DC |
| Topology | Thyristor rectifier |
| Cooling | Forced air |
| Enclosure | Containerised, outdoor |
Results
- DC supply for the electrolysers of a green hydrogen pilot
- Containerised design installed outdoors without air conditioning
